Attitudes Shape Our Perception of Setbacks

Take job-hunting as an example. A pessimistic job-seeker may give up after rejections, claiming “It's hopeless". An optimistic one sees rejections as feedback, adjusts resumes, and keeps applying. Attitudes don't just affect emotions; they determine actions and outcomes.

We should cultivate optimism. When facing setbacks, instead of fixating on what's lost, focus on what remains. By choosing to see the “remaining drops", we gain the strength to persevere, transform challenges into opportunities, and live more resilient, fulfilling lives.
